Honestly, I’m low-key obsessed with this!
I love living in the up-above.
It’s much harder to displace or ignore New Zealand on such maps.
Straight up misinformation in the text above the map but otherwise interesting perspective
Easier to read for smaller children.
Serious remarks: It doesn’t make sense to center a map around the emptiness of the Pacific. Also by doing it this way, Africa and South America are still pushed to the sidelines.

Why is the map giving everyone the finger
The achingly fashionable „Peters“ projection has had its own Eurocentric bias self-consciously „corrected“ by shoving Germany and all its wicked neighbours into a corner, while the tyranny of the northern hemisphere is overthrown and charged with crime of not being the Global South – this is sure to solve all the world’s ills!
An inverted Peters Projection. The creator declared he had an agenda with this map – fair do’s – but this is as distorting of shape as Mercator is of size.
