Really? Are there more people looking for Jesus in France than in the US.?

    2. so what? Why’d I search for some half-imaginary dude when I can Google some real stuff?

    3. Pakistan leading the way in Asia. Though officially banned, cannabis has been used traditionally for centuries here, and hippy trail had Pakistan as a big destination too. The capital Islamabad has wild cannabis growing everywhere.

    4. Maybe people in azerbaijan wasn’t searching weed but a city named Gəncə(Ganja in English/also weed).

    5. As a Moroccan, we gotta keep the Hashish supply chain going. Otherwise Rif inhabitants will become broke

Surprised by France… aren’t they proudly secular?? I know having a secular government doesn’t mean the people don’t practice religion but you’d think there’s considerably less Christians (by % of pop) than in the US…

    7. Spanish-speaking countries are actually showing that Jesús is a common male first name.

I can only speak for Brazil:

Jesus could be Jorge Jesus, former manager of Flamengo. Last year before we got Ancelotti on the national team he was the most likely name to come and everytime a big team fires their manager he is speculated and people want to see confirmation or denial about it

No one will search cannabis, they’ll search *maconha*, *baseado*, *cigarrinho do demônio*, *ganja*, *chá*, *erva maldita*, amongst other names

Not that you need to be pro-jesus to be good, but it’s such a shame drugs is among the foremost things in these peoples‘ countries‘ minds

He didn’t say ‚Jesus‘. He said, „Hey, Zeus!“ My name is Zeus.

I think the point should be that if people weren’t so worried about looking up whether or not grass is illegal in the state they happen to find themselves in, they might be more interested in the Jman.

Well, one has helped people find their place in this world for decades and the other is Jesus

For Russia it’s not true. My friend is an Orthodox priest, so I visit church every once in a while, even being a non-believer. I’d say it’s about 1 person out of 100 who is practicing Christian and have ever attended a Divine Liturgy. Cannabis is more popular, especially more cheap hash. Nobody searches google for it because it’s illegal and it’s sold in the darknet or Telegram.

    16. The map is actually pretty similar to a map of countries with legal cannabis
