In air quality? One of the most densely populated countries in Europe and the world, basically a river delta? The transport hub of Europe? That’s all on you, that that was your expectation. It’s very logical that NL has poor air quality.

I would like to know what „excellent“ and „terrible“ means, some units would be nice. Even the „terrible“ areas on this map probably don’t perform that badly if you compare to the rest of the world

Wonder about the scale used here. Doubt the Netherlands are at Mumbai-level of air pollution.

Suspicious patch of bad air quality in the middle of East Anglia where there are no large towns, cities, motorways or industry.

It’s like big cities with a lot of people and industries and traffic are bad. Who’d have thought!

Hungary is well known to have terrible air quality. Malta isnt that great either. This Map is absolute clown shoes.

When is the data supposed to be from? London’s air quality is markedly better in recent years.

Idk how accurate this map is since Skopje seems to have good air quality but has been several times in the top 20 cities with the worst air pollution on earth. Same with Pristina

No way. This is not accurate at all. I live in southern part of Serbia and I know that here is a terrible air, it is so bad that when you go out and come back home – your lungs hurt as hell, they’re literally burning inside…

There’s no source or what values were used („Excellent“ vs „Terrible“ what does this mean?).
Quite a misleading chart.

What is the source of the map and how the average was calculated ?
I am asking because if I refer to IQAir, the data vastly differs.

I’m a Swiss dude that has moved to the Netherlands. It always gets me how most Dutch are completely oblivious to how horrendous the air quality is!

People in this thread: this data is so obvious, more people and density, more pollution.
Also people in this thread: The Netherlands can’t have that bad air quality!1!1!!

I am confused with the high levels of pollution in the Belgium and Netherlands areas.

This seems entirely wrong with how clean the Balkans are looking. Bosnia and Serbia have some of the worst air quality in the world
