Yes then let’s change history and end up under and at the hands of the Serbian empire then like they say, an integral part of the Serbian Republic

I’m an history student and i did my paper on this and here is some quotes from famous historians and my conclusion if we were to say that the ottoman were defeated at kosovo not vienna and here what would have likely happened

essentially without ottoman rule there would have NOT been a kosovo at least not as we know as it is today

**Kosovo before the Ottomans was overwhelmingly Serbian, serving as the core of the medieval Serbian state (Malcolm, Fine).**
**Historians agree that Albanians were present mainly on Kosovo’s western edges and were not a majority before Ottoman rule (Fine, Vickers).**
**The shift toward an Albanian majority happened during the Ottoman centuries, not earlier (Vickers).**
**Many Albanians gained status, land, and power by rising through Ottoman military and administrative ranks (Skendi).**
**Without Ottoman rule, Kosovo would not have become Muslim and almost certainly would not have become an overwhelmingly Albanian land.**

Without Ottoman rule, Kosovo would never have become a Muslim-majority region, because the Islamization of its population happened almost entirely under Ottoman administration. It also would not have become overwhelmingly Albanian; before the Ottomans, Kosovo was the political and religious center of medieval Serbia, not an Albanian land. The demographic shift toward an Albanian majority occurred only during Ottoman centuries, when Albanians migrated, gained land, and expanded socially. Many Albanian families rose through the Ottoman military and administrative ranks even to the rank of the 2nd most powerful person in the ottoman empire the grand vizier numerous times which strengthened their influence in Kosovo and surrounding areas and even as far as coming to rule egypt palestine and other lands at some point challenging the sultan rule . Without that Ottoman framework, Kosovo would almost certainly have remained a predominantly Serbian and Orthodox region, not anything close to 90% Albanian.

If the Ottomans had been defeated at Kosovo, the region would not resemble modern Kosovo at all. Without centuries of Ottoman rule, there would have been no large-scale Islamization and no demographic shift that made Albanians the vast majority in the region. Kosovo would have remained the core of a Serbian-led state or later part of the Hungarian–Habsburg sphere, meaning its population would have stayed predominantly Orthodox Slavic. The rise of an overwhelmingly Albanian Muslim Kosovo was a direct result of Ottoman administrative structures, land policies, and social mobility tied to Islam. In short, the Kosovo that exists todayculturally, demographically, and politically, could not have emerged without the long Ottoman presence, whether one views that legacy positively or negatively.

Kush po na ndalon sot me qu Shqiptarine perpara? Gjithmone skishin pas dite, edhe urrejtje mes nesh.

Bulgaria for example, the country arguably closest to the Ottomans self developed in the early 1800eds to some standard of independant Serbia or Croatia, mostly due to its proximity to Istanbul and domination of a merchant elite.
Bosnia comparativley brgan industtialization in the 1860es with significant Ottoman reform but stagnated until 1878 when it began to industrialize under proper managment.

Albania simmilarly developed, albeit to a smaller scale as Bulgaria initialy, with Shkoder and Dures being key centers of trade and industry with the former being comperable to Belgrade at the same time but fell short of its full pontental due to a lacking Ottoman investment pool, Albanian tribal structures and the elite which more or less coalesed in to limiting development.
