Gemeint ist das tragische Ereignis im Februar 2004, als der armenische Offizier Gurgen Margaryan während eines NATO-Seminars in Budapest ermordet wurde. Sein Mörder wurde später von Ungarn freigelassen und in Aserbaidschan gefeiert. Beim heutigen Spiel erinnerten armenische Fans die Welt an diese Ungerechtigkeit, indem sie ein Transparent mit der Aufschrift „Willkommen in Armenien, hier können Sie sicher schlafen“ zeigten.
