      Not to worry. They’ll all soon be replaced by AI. Well maybe keep 10% to human review and the rest will be redundant. Translations is sth AI will excel at.

      Ok so as someone with insider knowledge of this agency, I really can’t speak of the level of overwork of translators but I really don’t like how they complain about “favouritism” towards the operational support department (i.e. project managers, language technologists and file preparation) without acknowledging that almost the whole department has literally bottom tear CDD contracts while all translators are either official or temporary staff with salaries that are at the very least twice as high (and maybe that’s why lots of them come from poorer countries, not because they love to hire mediterranean people ffs)
