Tufan Erhürman, Vorsitzender der türkisch-zyprischen Gemeinschaft, gab während des Programms, an dem er teilnahm, Erklärungen zur Zypernfrage, zu vertrauensbildenden Maßnahmen und zum ersten 100-Tage-Plan ab. Erhürman erklärte, dass die technischen Arbeiten begonnen hätten und dass leistungsorientierte Verwaltungseinheiten rasch eingerichtet würden.
Erhürman erklärte, dass sich 5+1-Treffen nicht auf symbolische Fotos beschränken sollten und Nikosia zu einem dauerhaften Zentrum des Dialogs werden sollte:
"Anstatt einfach nur Fotos zu posten, lasst uns hier tatsächlich etwas Arbeit leisten. Diese Themen sollten in Nikosia einmal pro Woche oder alle zehn Tage besprochen werden. Erst dann wird 5+1 sinnvoll."
Erhürman erinnerte daran, dass Themen wie Übergangspunkte in der Vergangenheit noch nie in hochrangigen Treffen angesprochen worden seien, und erklärte, dass solche Probleme durch häufige Treffen auf technischer Team- und Führungsebene gelöst werden sollten.

Es ist verrückt, dass wir eine Fünferkonferenz mit den drei Bürgen in Genf brauchten, um uns auf die Reinigung und Restaurierung von Friedhöfen zu einigen (und das ist offensichtlich nicht die Schuld von NC, sondern Tatars Unfähigkeit, etwas zu sagen, ohne dass sein Puppenspieler im selben Raum ist).

And speaking of that, any suggestions for cheaper countries for the actual high-level negotiations? (So far our leaders seem to have a soft spot for the most expensive country in Europe, Switzerland-Mont Pelerin, Crans Montana, Geneva)
