Ich bin in den letzten Tagen auf einen Asiatischen Hornissenbefall gestoßen, der erste Tag war nur einer und hat stetig zugenommen, er befindet sich auf einem schmalen Weg, daher habe ich auch Angst, dass jemand verletzt werden könnte.

As the temperature is increasing steadily in Luxembourg, the species of Asian or African bees are more suited for the new reality.
Also what’s happening is that bees in general are being spotted more and more in northern parts of Europe which didn’t have them in the past.

Oh god I hate those! In the warmer summer days / months, one comes into my apartment every night, attracted by the lights I guess, but I catch each one of these, cage them and kill with some vinegar… Cruel as it sounds, am really scared of them, can’t imagine what would happen if they stung my 1 month old baby 🥺
Humans need a visa but these guys no, so you can’t stop them. Consequences of environmental impact.
Good on you for doing this. I have reported invasive japanese knotweed in the past, to the Parcs. Doing your civic duty is one of the things Luxembourgers are more likely to do than in big shitty cities.
They won’t survive the winter months, if it can wait a few more weeks, they will naturally disappear.
