Der Halsbandsittich kommt nun schon seit Jahrzehnten in den Niederlanden, Belgien, Frankreich und Deutschland vor, aber ich konnte keine Informationen darüber finden, ob es in Luxemburg eine Population gibt.

Deshalb wollte ich fragen, ob jemand diesen Vogel gesehen hat?

  1. I’ve not seen any but it wouldn’t surprise me. there were big colonies of them in SW London when I lived there; so many and for so long in fact that my local pub had them on the sign.

    I have not seen them in Luxembourg (except mine who’s a nasty little bird that can tear its way thru a freakin wall if bored).

    Not sure if it’s this particular species but I’ve definitely seen a bird this vibrantly coloured in the Remich forests before

    In Luxembourg it goes by the English name Rose-ringed Parakeet 

    Eleven sightings have been submitted to iNaturalist, mainly in/around southern cities

  5. yes 2-3 times on occasion a sigle one, near noertzange. but not like the large swarms in england or germany nrw
