Now that they’ve already spent billions in fucking over us locals and buying everythign in sight? Now that you’ve whored yourself to rich immigrants and made bank? Better late than never I guess. If anything actually comes out of it.
make it easier for locals getting in to homes, give subsidies that don’t require a large percentage upfront

Normally in the Cypriot legislation (unless it has been amended??) it’s impossible to buy real estate from non eu country without a decision from the council of ministers. So I think this news is extremely hypocritical.
