Armenians were there first and they lived there for over a thousand years before the Turks came there. Everyone with half a brain knows this.

That being said, when Armenia took the land after the first war, hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis were forcefully displaced, and the same happened to the Armenians after the 2020 war.

Both Azerbaijanis (Turks) and Armenians have lived in this geography for centuries at this point, and being indigenous to the land doesn’t give anyone the right to oppress or displace the other.

Let’s be real, whichever side controls it, they won’t allow the other side to live there. I don’t think either side should own it. I think it should be it’s own thing with a Cyprus like structure (pre-1963 obviously). Being realistic, Cyprus didn’t work and I don’t think this would either, especially with Azerbaijan and Turkey so close by. It’s a very idealistic and wishful thinking scenario. But I think it’s the one most preferable for everyone involved.
