Die „Forever Canadian“ -Petition könnte eine Snap Alberta -Wahl bringen

The petition already has way more signatures to stay in Canada than would be required under the new legislation for a referendum to leave Canada.

It will be an interesting month in Alberta and in Canada.

**Edit to clarify the words above (based of feedback below): currently there are NOT enough signatures associated with this referendum for it to be accepted under the existing legislation. More signatures are required. According to the article the cut of date for that is Oct 28th. However, with that said, currently there are way more signatures gathered than would be required under the new legislation (which will lower the threshold) for future referendums.**

So more UCP seats?
