It’s hard to combat these criminal gangs because the police and even the army are in on this. When I was stationed in the army base I remember listening to stories of a civilian car entering the base, at the request of X or Y officer and delivering hundreds of ampelopoulia to each every month. It’s terrible and of course illegal but it’s so normalized that nobody does anything about it.
