Reading there are some lies. You have federal tax exemptions as US citizen if you live abroad. Specially in Spain because there are trade agreements between the two countries.
You cant be double taxed.
However Spain does have more taxes than the US.
Because they don’t know how to read nor how to get decent consultancy. When our tax collector claims for the last 1.5 years tax return they go mad and leave owing money. That’s 90% of the cases.
