      A total of 150 billion have been allocated to the EU safe programme. A huge waste of money in my opinion.

      Very interesting. This is mainly for capital expenses and procurement so will be interesting to see where it goes. 

      My guess is T80 replacement as well as Russian APC/AFV replacement, as well as upgrading/replacing/adding to the aging AA equipment. 

      Probably we’ll see Leo’s, and some euro AFVs and possibly some sweet short range AA stuff. 

      A bit shit it’s for joint purchases as it would have been nice for the CY defence industry to get a bit of a boost, but hopefully the local funding can be redirected to indigenous defence companies to spur development.
