People don’t realize these “mishaps” are eroding U.S. global policy in the long run. Many states see America’s unwavering support for Netanyahu and Israel as a blatant double standard. That perception lets China step in as the “trustworthy” mediator. More influence for China means a weaker Taiwan, a weaker Ukraine, and a stronger Russia. And in the end, even Israel may pay the price as the US weakens as a global Hegemon.
