absolutely batshit that we’re not directing this money to the Canadian Forces.
Ukraine is killing off the Russian military, keeping them supplied is a great investment.
Russia will reap what it sows.
I know it’s not a reasonable ask on an ASAP timeline but it’d sure be cool if we could retool some of those auto plants affected by the tariffs to produce military equipment rather than source it through the Americans.
I wish Canada would send a volunteer force of troops to serve in Ukraine. We need real modern warfare battle experience in our leadership. I don’t mean sending a mass amount of troops against their will, but if our boys and girls want to defend Ukraine they should be able to. We have a large population of people with Ukrainian heritage and it’s time we grew a pair.
That’s great but, how is Canada going to afford all this spending?
