      i’m sorry to say, but I doubt that. If Turkey is footing the bill and subsidizing them, they will be told to jump.

      Unless there’s a change in government in Turkey, the will of Turkish Cypriots doesn’t matter, at least regarding the division of the island. Even if they disagree with the Sultan, they’re toothless and no more than puppets.

      Tbh.. It is not really matter who will be elected at all..

      No one can do anything without Turkiye’s permission in Turkish side. So no need to hope anything.
