      I thought the Geneva Convention expressly forbids ’settling‘ occupied territory?

      This pertains primarily to settlements in the west bank, which are a travesty. It is not pertaining to the seeming occupation of Gaza.

      The Israeli right-wing is not even pretending. Neither are some elements of groups like Hamas. As has been forever, it’s hard to see an ending to this and I feel for the generations of people there who are caught up in it.

      great. more settlers. This needs more attention, what the settlers do in the west bank is even against Israeli law and needs to be prosecuted.

      This would be a good time to finally accept Israel as your neighbour for peace and a state.

      So if there’s no future for a Palestinian state, what nationality are Palestinians? Is Israel going to give them rights as Israelis?

      People talk about how the violence radicalizes Palestinians but it also does the same with the Israelis. Israeli is a democracy and the constant terror attacks have fueled the growth of far right nuts like this guy in politics.

      I think this really helps tensions in the region, definitely can’t see any downsides to this plan

      Remember when Israel first retaliated and everyone was like “these are strategic targeted strikes”

      Now when you look at Gaza its literally all rubble
