The manufacturing lines for these missiles should’ve been kicked into high gear years ago. At this point, I feel like the slow roll is deliberate.
This line has gotta be some kinda lazy bullshit made up by state dept. I’m pretty sure US has more of every type of missile than it could ever use in its stockpiles
Ah Yes, let’s describe our inadequacies to any potential national enemy.
The American stockpile of missiles is not running low. The surplus of American missiles available for use for others is running low.
Money that should be spent in Ukraine
Gee golly if only they didn’t cut taxes maybe they could afford ‚em.
You will be astounded by how fast this can be spooked up. I work in aerospace, we can work 3 shifts a day 7 days a week and often have programs that do this very thing.
If there is a need, they will get built.
Better to have this wake up call now, as opposed to when it’s Russia or China slinging ballistic missiles at us or our allies.
Maybe develop something smarter than using a million dollar missle to down a two thousand dollar drone.
They could make their own?

Reading articles like this really makes you appreciate just how ridiculous humans are. All of these problems we create for ourselves through exponential growth as we’re hurtling towards our own destruction and the thing that the fed views as *unsustainable* is the rate at which we need to replenish our missiles that we launch at each other.
We need to abandon this system of interceptors. It’s insane to shoot down cheap homemade stuff with a $100k+ high-tech interceptor. Cheap drones to intercept cheap drones.
Questionable if Israel really needs them also. They’ve got safe rooms, they’ve got alarms. A bit of concrete can be repaired. They can end the insane war.
