Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke has responded to the Israeli prime minister’s attack on Anthony Albanese, saying: „Strength is not measured by how many people you can blow up or how many children you can leave hungry.“
Bibi got baked.

Must be new Israeli PR strategy to call concerned friends ‚anti-semites‘. I don’t feel anything hearing that term anymore. Time to decouple from the nation that’s been voting him in since 1996.

It’s kinda idiotic for Australia to do this.
A better move would be to approach Abbas and figure out ways to deradicalize the Palestinians so peace is doable.

It’s like when you finally go against the wishes of that one Narc „friend“, and then they immediately fly off the rails and start attacking and screaming at you and try to get the rest of the friend’s group to ostracise you.

Just remember this is the same country that made the Middle East less safe for all Australian travellers by forging our passports for their mossad hit squad

Australia stood up to China a few years ago. I don’t think Israel is going to leave an impression.

As an Aussie, I’m honestly surprised at how much our govt is standing up against Israel. Usually we continue the US-led dick sucking and follow whatever they support but they are holding their ground on this. I, in no way, support HAMAS, but I do not support the atrocities Israel are committing and I am actually happy to see our govt standing up to it as well.

Australia has quite reasonable conditions to recognize Palestine, unlike france.
– there be no role for hamas in any future government
– Demilitarization of Gaza
– they must hold of democratic elections
– they must affirm Israel’s right to exist in peace and security
– Ending payments to families of convicted attackers (often called “pay for slay”)
– Overhauling education to prevent incitement
– Allowing international oversight of reforms

Remember kids, hating the government of Israel ISN’T antisemitic, it’s just being a good human being!

Everyone should stand up to Israel who is a bully trying to silence those criticizing its tyrannical crimes
