Yea, no shit. Who would give land to an invading country. Russia has 250k dead troops and almost a million casualties. Ukraine is defending well

Does that include Crimea?

Russia needs to withdraw from ALL of Ukraine and pay reparations.

If there is lessons that Civilization 6 has taught me…
1. It’s harder to invade a country then it is to defend. No matter how small the country you are invading is.
2. No matter how much you negotiate to keep a town, You won’t win. You can toss everything you have and they will still say no.
3. Nukes make everyone smarten the fuck up.
Except Ghandi. Fuck that guy.

They’re hardly going to go into a negotiation saying otherwise. It’s only Trump who seems to lead by listing all the things he is willing to give away.

They shouldn’t. Russia invaded Crimea illegally as the y did the Donbas. GTFO Russia, go home!

Lots of people are not reading the article carefully. This has to do with negotiated concessions in addition to what Russia has gained by force. Ukraine will accept a frozen front line and de facto Russian control of occupied territory. However they will not formally recognize those gains but would not fight to recover them.
Somehow I think the headline is deliberately misleading to make Ukraine seem intransigent.
Ukraine recovering occupied territory is a pipe dream at this point, they don’t have the manpower for a counteroffensive

Slightly off topic but.. We gave over 100 billion dollars to the Ukraine under Biden and they’re still fighting with 200$ drones and old equipment. The money went somewhere and obviously not towards the war. Sending even more is a waste of money. It’s not going to go where it should. This war would have been over if the money was spent appropriately.

Nor should they. If Ukraine gives Russia any territory, Russia will invade again because they know they can get more.

I would.
I would, reluctantly, agree to cede Moscow to Russia in return for the Crimea.
And cede St. Petersberg for other occupied territories.
But Russia will have to agree to give Belarus to Ukraine. Although, that can be negotiated in exchange for reparation payments and the return of the kidnapped Ukrainian children.
