      Screw the airline and the government. I’ve seen a paycheck from an AC FA and it a fraction of what US airlines pay.

      If you have to ask for permission from the people that have an investment in your employer to be able to strike that’s not much of a union and not much of a strike. Good on the FA’s for actually having a spine and taking a fucking stand.

      Good and fuck the Government for doing what they did. If AC is such an essential airline that they have to force workers back to work then it should be classed as an essential service and under the control of the Government. If it’s not that essential then the Government should be keeping their noses out of this.

      Also I have to admit, this entire thing is hilarious because it’s just proving that it’s not the Leadership or Management a company can’t live without but it’s the Flight Attendants who are so essential to the company. If the CEO died, the company will live on and continue to operate but if the Flight Attendants all strike, well that’s a major emergency that requires Gov intervention.

      Hope this sends a precedent to all unions and their workers across Canada. Binding arbitration with government intervention is a fucking joke.

      It’s about time those asshats at AC pay their people what they’re worth!!!!

      If the union is committing an illegal act does that mean that affected individuals can sue them for hotel bills, cancellation fees etc? I hope so

      I have a flight with AC next week that im not sure whats going to happen. But i support the flight attendants 100%! Nobody should work for free

      Im not sure why AC is stressed. Just give them what they want. It will be passed on to the consumer anyway. A few new fees and an ultra ultra basic fare and they won’t even notice it on their bottom line.

      Damn, flight attendants have more of a spine than the rail workers. 

      Hopefully they get every single one of their demands met.
