Kurz gesagt: Kurz gesagt: Bereits im September 2024 habe ich mehrere Verstöße gegen Umwelt- und Tiermissbrauch gegen die gemeldet Gemeinde Nikosia. Das betroffene Bereich ist groß (Regierung im Besitz) Feld in Platy (AGLANTZIA), das unter die Zuständigkeit Nikosiens fällt.
Ich habe sie aufgefordert, sowohl persönlich als auch telefonisch Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, aber ich wurde getroffen vollständige Gleichgültigkeit. Bestenfalls versprachen sie Veränderungen, taten aber letztendlich nichts.
Als letzter Versuch, jemanden dazu zu bringen, die Verantwortung für die Situation zu übernehmen, kontaktierte ich die Gemeinde per E -Mail, bekam aber keine Antwort.
PS Ich möchte euch für die unglaubliche Unterstützung dafür danken, die ich erhalten habe (❤️).

Sadly, my efforts have been met with many replies, even make visits from authorities, and yet, nothing was done about it.
I don’t know what to say, people shouldn’t give up, but I’ve lost the will to push this agenda when nothing comes from it (other than that I now have warnings from the police not to approach certain people again).
Emails for sure won’t work. Repeated phone calls might… But like I said, sadly I doubt anything will come from it.
You expected an answer from an email? They don’t even pick up the phones…
Social media is the only thing they respond to. They dont wanna do anything, they want to APPEAR that they are doing anything. Post on twitter and tag the mayor. Include email and the fact that was over 2 months ago. Tag some environmental group and the comissioner for animal rights.
If Aglantzia has a group on facebook, post it there as well (don’t post the reddit links, they don’t care). Make sure to tag Prountzo and αντιδήμαρχο of Aglatzia area.
Also post in the groups like „Που Πήγαμε“ that large amount of ppl will say what they think and possibly journalists (του Lidl) will probably copy paste it to a newspaper and gain traction.
Contact επίτροπο διοικήσεως (commissioner of administration).
One of their subdivision deals with issues like this

Isn’t there a law that they must reply if only a letter is sent to them?
I get what you’re trying to do. I’ve seen many of your posts. On every one of them you’ve been advised to spread this through social media. You don’t.

The merging of municipalities is a shame without ending. In the last year, Aglantzia has completely been abandoned.
You might consider reaching out to a member of the Green Party, politicians are often eager to take credit for resolving issues that are publicly brought to their attention.
It’s also a good idea to use social media to raise awareness. Tag both the Municipality of Nicosia and the Green Party in your posts to increase visibility and pressure for action.
I’m emotionally invested in this odyssey. I do hope you eventually get a happy ending to this
Most Cypriots don’t care so their government don’t care. Cyprus has the government it deserves unfortunately
Contact them by phone. If they don’t answer go personally and take a printed copy of your email and ask for a receipt for your complaint.
Why don’t you contact the ecologist party and ask them if they can get involved under the environmental pollution and animal cruelty angle, instead of wasting everyone’s time with things that won’t have an impact.

Yeah, as some people said, go to TV, that’s the only thing they care about.
I’ve always found Nicosia to be really responsive! That’s shocking x
