It’s unbelievably good, holy shit. Starts of with Rei rap into goated vocals from Liz into rapper Leeseo to so more goated vocals from Wony then finally into that insane addictive chorus. You can practically smell the PAK from a mile away.

The concept queens are back! Man I love when IVE does these mid-tempo songs. The instrumentals are crazyyyyy. Liz’ vocals in the pre-chorus are straight up heavenly and the change up in the last chorus… I ascended.
I’d comment on the MV but I’d have to watch it at least 3 more times, I think. The color palette, the cultural references, our girls’ unbeatable visual.

I love the styling, the concept is amazing. I only tangentially know the folktale of the tiger swallowing the sun, but even with my bare bones knowledge, omg the visuals, the dance, the everything. I’ve got to admit that when I first started listening, I was thinking that I was about to come in here and say that I’m not sure if I love IVE going back to the strategy of building title tracks around an interpolation of a melody from a popular song and the Ava Max-ness of it all, but then they kept stacking on more and more of the classic K-pop grandiosity and I completely forgot what I was grumpy at.
Awesome pe-chorus, classic handful of bars switching up the beat going a bit latin-y in the bridge (a lil IZ*ONE-esque?), random DnB fills, epic final chorus opening up, gorgeous MV with creative styling and editing. I’m still iffy on the chorus but am well aware of how it’ll worm it’s way into my head. That’s why the writers are using the material. They know it’s going to work.

Liz’s charming vocal tone embraces the whole song, elevating the mood. The raps are fantastic, Rei and Gaeul have some very cool verses! Wony’s prechorus is godly! And Yujin captivates the viewers with her eyes and her stage presence when taking Center stage! IVE just solidified their legacy as a top 4th gen group further with this one. A comeback that will be hard to forget!
