  1. Both are all road.
You should stop at kathikas, it’s a beautiful village.

I did this years ago and I dont remember anything but asphalt roads. Lakki is a busy touristy village the seawater there is the best is all of cyprus to my (limited) experience so far. See – through water.

  3. Since the person above has already answered. I’d suggest using the other road which says 57mins for a drive by the sea. Maybe you could use it to get back to geroskipou

Both are good. There are other options as well.

You can go all the way to Polis via B7 and then turn left just as you enter the town.

Or you can go the Peyia way, but instead of going right through the city, you can continue along the coast and then turn right after the TLC school. You’ll end up on the same road, it’ll be slightly longer, but you’ll skip the busy parts of the city and have some really nice views on the way.

But basically it’s just it: two roads, one from Peyia, and one from Paphos, with a road through Kathikas that connects the two. Both roads are good, but my favorite one is from Peyia, as it’s shorter (I mean the coast-to-coast part), less busy and, if you want to go to Latchi, you arrive a bit closer to your destination.

If you want to get there fast B7 is better, smaller roads go through villages with speed limits and bumps, also are much windier especially in the hilly areas.

Google in its infinite wisdom even put some dirt roads into its Cyprus navigation map, but they’re unnamed, not even E or F. Don’t use those, especially in the mountainous center of the island.

I did an intro to scuba diving with them and they’re really nice people. _I_ was awful and _I_ made it difficult, and they were still absolutely great. Turns out after decades of practise I don’t actually know how to breathe o.0

Both routes are main roads and are pretty. It gets even more pretty if you stray off the main roads. You won’t be driving down dirt, but some of it gets a bit windy and lots of up and down; ignore the rental car and stay in a low gear. Some of the routes can take you through little villages which are a bit harrowing – extremely narrow and dogs and kids running about; they’re obvious but take extra care. If you’re not under time pressure and playing tourist, it’s a beautiful area to drive around semi-lost.

I had two amazing meals at [Chix Chox](https://maps.app.goo.gl/PcfFG5ZXGbuWQ62X9) in Polis. Stunning food, very friendly, very high on my list of places to go back to. Ask about the home-grown avocadoes…

Honestly a bit jelly – have an amazing time wherever you end up 🙂
